Default V vs Corvette

LS1 Vette, Cam, headers, exhaust, intake, tune is what I was told.
My V, headers, cutouts, cat delete, tune. I have a passenger.

The Dig (I hit the rev limiter because I was paying more attention to the traffic in front than the actual race. The Red mazda in front of me was a show car making over 800whp, so i was a bit cautious. LOL)

I got railed on this one. I let off the instant I hit that rev limiter and rolled out the lane.

===============

The 60 Roll (Camera turned on exactly after the 3 honks)
I did some railing here. Must be a Vette deadspot?

Vette ran 12.9 @ 108 on his first run, same day I ran 13.2 @ 107 on my 2nd. Vette has to be good for mid-low 12s, I would think. Whats an avg one with those mods make anyway?

Good kill.

The C5 trapped 108 with Bolt-On's/Cam...wtf? Lol. Stock at my local track I've seen them do 107-110. Sounded like an A4 and I'm assuming he doesn't have a stall though. That car should at least be good for traps in the mid-high teens.

60 isn't a dead spot for a Vette, it's a sweet spot. A4 or M6. And it should be trapping much higher than 108.

Yea man, that trap speed seems kind of low for that Vette even with basic bolt-ons. However, with a cam I would think that Vette should be running mid-teens IMO.

Good death/kill man.

I wanna say I was trapping 110/111 stock in my 6 speed car moons ago. Pretty sure I have the slips somewhere.

That vette is definitely having some issues somewhere, maybe driver mod? It should be running a bit stronger than that

Track prep wasn't exactly phenomenal, but I mean, it was decent. No real big complaints on my end.

@mark, yup... with the baby seat in the back. LOL

The dig I was dead in the water because I wasn't expecting him to go as quick as he did and we had traffic close enough to be an issue, IMO. (You can tell that by the top of 2nd or so, i already had to move out the way)

I'll try to get a rematch sometime.
