Default Boost Leash and wastegate question

Directions are showing a connection at the top of the wastegate to the MAP sensor. Do you guys drill and tap another hole in gate or just tee off the line?

OK...Did you drill and tap a hole right next to the other fitting or right on the top of the gate? If on the top, it'd have to be in the very center to not interfere with the spring.

It's not the map sensor on the car it's the sensor that comes with the kit. Drill and tap the top end of the gate but on the side. Make sure none of the threads stick inside. Cut them off flush.

If you use a T it will not get a clean signal. It will work but it wont get as smooth of a pressure signal. You dont want the sensor to be picking up the pulses in the line.

Knowing that is this the same for the reference off the turbo housing that goes to the MAP sensor in the kit and the wastegate? If that's the case I'd need to drill another hole for another port on the turbo housing? I was thinking of teeing that one also.
