Default 4L60E not Shifting from 1st to 2nd

I have a 2000 camaro that just hit 111k at about 106k I had some mods done cam, heads set up, timing chain, ETC... And I put a Edge 3400 stall in a 4L60E A4. Now yesterday when I was in Drive at the Stop sign I went to drive off but it didn't want to shift into 2nd gear and my speedometer was reading 0mph when I was going it took awhile to shift, and also when I'm coming to stop but I let off the brakes there's a loud clunk any ideas on both problems, Thanks

Vehicle uses speedometer input to command shift points. Its possible the trans is in backup mode which would command late and/or harsh shifts Check your connections at the vehicle speed sensor. If your connections are good you will need to replace the vss.

Exactly right.
Check the VSS connector very carefully for corrosion. If the connections looks good, try replacing it.

Yes, if the speedometer reads 0 mph the computer does not think the car is moving and therefore will never shift.
