Default Stupid schrader valve problem

I am in the process of installing a fuel pressure gauge onto my LT1. Ive been trying to remove the schrader valve core but I can't get the damn thing out. I'm using just a regular valve core remover from Autozone, but I can't get the thing to hookup and twist out. Am I doing something wrong??

Some of those valve core tools also have a "thread chaser" that sticks out of the tool, 90* to the stem of the tool. If you have one of these, you might have to knock this part out...

I just have a little tool similar to this. Hole in the middle with two prongs.

I'll be running braided fuel line from the schrader valve over behind the PCM where I'll mount the sensor then run the wires inside to a pillar pod.
