Drag Racing Tech - ARE H/C New Best

Not by much but it's the 1st time out with new Jessels 1.8's and my 90mm FAST & TPIS TB. My anti roll bar broke so the car was rolling over and my 60's could have been better but the mph was killer.
Best 60 of the day was 1.43
best et 10.71
best mph 127.8 :nod: Thats right with an A-4 and a 12 bolt at 3320 lbs.
DA was about 500 ft

How much did you gain at the wheels with the 90mm set-up ?

I have been having traction problems as of late. I am starting to think that I might have been at that point where the extra power I added, has now caused me to look at my set-up again. I think slicks and some shocks are now needed.

Are you on slicks ?

Roger, I picked up 20-25 through the mid and 10 peak but that was also with the Jessel 1.8's which gave me some more lift. And yes I'm on slicks but I run the same 60's on QTP's. I'll pull a 1.39 I'm sure once I get this Anti roll bar welded back together.

New with the suspension/ chassis is Jay Billingsley's new torque arm and lca's and the new stock replacement coil overs for the rear by Autofab which worked pretty well considering the broken Anti-roll bar.

You have some awsome 60's nice MPH too. What rpm do you go thru the traps w/4.10s. Mike Norris just tunned my car w/the 90 Fast it picked up 18hp but 0tq, I guess my 41/2 year old ARE heads are`nt as good as Nicks newer ones. Great #s

I hit the traps at 6900, sometimes I kiss the 7000 limiter. No torque gain here either. Actually lost a little.

Yes but when I ordered them they came with 130# springs that were not enough for me, they wouldn't rebound. I ended up going with 175# springs.
