Default th400 slip yoke/ driveshaft question (10bolt)

Hey guys got a question about my th400 swap. Haven't measured yet but was sitting at work and had a idea. I don't really want to have a driveshaft made unless it's a must. I'm switching to a 9" soon. I know the stock driveshaft is to short so could I just get a longer slip yoke for a th400 and be ok?

no longer yoke will work, you can have the 400 done as a long shaft small output, the you only need to shorten the M6 driveshaft 1 5/8" and use the original yoke
