My passenger side axle seal is leaking on my '04 now since I've had it out of storage this spring. Car only has 10k on it now, I checked original owners receipts and the passenger side axle seal was replaced right off the bat in '04 also. So I'm doing cradle and diff bushings, gforce axles, and cs trailing arms...since I have to change the seal lol. I bought two seals but I'm thinking I'll leave the driver side seal alone since it's never leaked. I had a rear shock blow out this spring too, awesome.

I replaced both of my seals earlier this month.

Once you remove the axle the seal is right there and just pops out. It's an hour or two worth of work to get to that point. Not too bad if you can follow directions.

Not to mislead you, but, it could also be your vent on top of the diff

Yep, and the vent leak is more common than seal failure.

^THIS^

It's most likely coming from the vent, but make sure you get underneath there and check where the fluid is coming from. Brake Kleen it off with a rag, and then recheck the next day.

If it is coming from the axle seals, you'll need to swap em out.
Here's my writeup for the diff replacement so you can see what's involved:

Man, I need to bring my writeups to this forum.

I used Lolly's write-up when I did my axle swap. It is perfect. The most difficult part for me was realigning the hug back onto the axle. It can be a summumabisch doing it solo.

For what it is worth, I saw mine was leaking and I could not tell if it was from the diff or the vent. I cleaned off the diff and it looked like it actually was the seal. I decided to open up the fill hole to check the level to see how how low my oil was and I heard a hiss. My vent must have been clogged or something. I topped off the diff and I have not had any leaks since. Time will tell if it was just temporary relief or if I will still need to do the seals.
