Default Which custom wire harness? Pros and Cons

Getting ready to order a custom harness for my 6.0, 4l80 turbo build and was looking for any experiences, good and bad on any of the manufacturers. Also curious if there are any real differences in the different companies, seems like a harness is a harness, but maybe not........

I've worked on a couple of cars/trucks with their product installed and have found they are top notch. Well labelled, great support and the manual is pretty much fool proof to aid with the install. They will work with you on anything custom you may need to put together. Very clean and good looking too

What type of harness are you looking to buy? One to wire an entire car or just to run the engine?

Depends on what you mean by "custom".

There are a number of companies that make aftermarket wring harnesses, both engine stand alone, and full chassis harnesses.

Painless is probably the best, but the cost is pretty high. American Autowire and Rebel Wire also make excellent products for a significantly smaller price.

But finding a company that makes a true custom harness, but to your exact specs, will be a little more difficult. And a lot more expensive.

Just an engine harness, and not truly custom, just not a rewired factory one .

Wiring specialties is well known among nissan enthusiasts and I have used their produccts with success before. I am currently waiting on a 240sx specific harness from them for my project. For you, and others with swaps into different chassis' that WS is unfamiliar with, they also offer a universal harness with well integrated features.
