Default PT-4400 + 100 shot=?

I found a good deal on this converter and need something better for my N/A runs. But I was wondering how well it worked with spraying the car too? Thanks.

It's far from an ideal nitrous verter but with stock internals I picked up almost 1.5 seconds and 13+ mph on a 150 shot. I would try it and see what you think.

I tried to spray on my T/A with that converter one night and I am not sure if it was the greatest to spray on LOL. It flashed to 5k upon launch and felt really violent. My 60' suffered due to wheelspin (1.76) and I went 11.12@123. My best N/A that night on the old ARE heads/cam was 12.0@112 with a 1.60 60'. The converter worked well with my GTP stuff and I ran a best of 11.65@115 N/A (broken valvespring) but never got to spray it on that combo.

So I picked up almost 1 second and 11mph on a 125 dry shot with zero tuning. I don't even know what my AFR was because I was soo mad at the car I didn't care if I blew it up.

I think I might be the PT4400/nitrous combos biggest fan.
FWIW, I pulled a 1.47 short time the other day on 100 shot dry with that same verter and my new cam.

Cool, thanks. I have a SY3500 and it loves the spray. I have recently put the heads and cam on and want a little more converter with ***** N/A. I haven't sprayed it yet(with the heads and cam), but I know my converter should be ok but I'm looking for a little something for my N/A runs. Thanks again.

The PT4000 would be my choice for really good N/A runs and some nitrous use. flashing to 5000rpm or more is a lil to high I feel.

You guys have any tranny problems spraying a H/C car? I would think the 4L60
would go BOOM sooner or later. Hell I scared mines gonna blow N/A much less adding a 100 shot.

A window switch really helps peserve the life of your A4 if you spray. Might cost a tiny bit in ET, but at least the extra torque from the spray is not there on the upshifts.

FWIW I pick up another 3-4 tenths spraying through the shifts. I know its hell on the tranny but I need a TH400 anyway!

Yes you loose a lot on the shifts. I have gone through 4 4l60E's and now have a T400.
