Default intake/tb 102 worth it LS6 NA?

vs doing a 90mm dbw tb ported out to work with a Fast 92mm...is the 102 fast and a NW 102 tb worth it? not much price difference here. Going toward a nice custom cam and TrickFlow 215s.
and if the verdict is just do the Fast 92mm...can I use a new ls3 dbw tb or does it have to be the ls2 dbw tb to work with ls6 plug adapter?

Since you plan on doing heads and cam, the 102 would be a good investment. You will need upgraded fuel rails with the 102.

That would work too. I think the FAST 92 setup works quite well on stock cube LS1's.

The 102 will give you maybe another 5 hp over the 92

The 102 is better through the whole curve....the graphs I've seen are usually about 10rwhp and 5rwhp peak. A 92/102 work well and is easier to tune. You're not looking at that much more money since the 92 is $100 more out of the box.

It helps, but is 10hp really worth $1500?

you can run what ever size TB you want on it. FAST sells adapter plates for all the sizes.

Ported 102 is best. You have to decide if you want to spend the money for it

This but I would add a few more ponies in the equation.

Yeah I would expect a 20-30 rwhp gain. But don't forget a new MAF, bellows and lid....I got a 90mm GM maf on ebay for $40 shipped. I think a lot of people don't do everything in front of the TB and that's why they don't see the gains others do. I personally gained 20rwhp from 4k rpms all the way to redline.

I think Maryland speed is having a sale on them now.
