Default Difficulty of c5 cam swap

How hard is it for a novice mechanic to do a cam and spring swap in a 98 c5 I'm looking to save 1000 dollars installing my btr stage 4 cam. Any input is great iv wrenched on some ls truck motors I need help

We did one last summer and plan to do another one later this year. It wasn't too bad ... time consuming. Dealing with removing the steering components was kind of a pain but with patience it's possible. I read a lot on the Corvette forum and took my time. Definitely worth tackling to save a grand!

What Tar Heel said. Ive done a few now and its not a big deal but the first time was a learning experience.
