Default ? about fog light wires

I have a question about our OEM fogs(880), which one of the terminals in the socket is for power? Thanks.

edit- I'm no electrical guru, but I looked the Haynes manual, and for the fogs there is a black wire and a purple wire, would I be correct in assuming that the black is ground and the purple is power?

in automotive lighting positive and negative only matter if your planning to run HID's or maybe LED's and it's pretty simple, hook whatever it is up and if it doesn't work just swap them around.

I would suspect the black to be the negative side, honestly I didn't pay any attention to the colors when I temporarily had HID's in there, I just plugged up the harness and it worked.
