Default 1990 Mustang Gt S488 6.0 w/ Holley EFI Build

This is going to be the new build thread for my brothers 1990 Mustang Gt. Started one in the conversions section but should get more help in here. Decided what route he wanted to go with the car and started to pick up some parts. Still have a little while to go on this but hoping to be ready by the end of summer here in Chicago. Car is going to be a SBE 6.0 with ls3 heads,BTR cam(still have to order), Holley high ram and Holley EFI. We picked up a Powerglide for the trans and are still undecided on what converter.

Pics of car when we picked it up. Was a roller though.

Looking very nice. I can't wait to get my fox body from getting it painted to start my Lsx transplant.

Ordered my custom cam along with everything needed to put the engine together. Also ordered two 40mm JGS waste gates and a 60mm blow off and all feed and return lines for the turbos. Should have the motor built and installed in the next week. Then off to fab.

Going to be assembling the motor either today or this Sunday. Then it will be put in the car. Also we are just starting to look at where to mount the Holley box and start to run the harnesses. The Fab guy that did my Camaro has a few things lined up then we should be getting in. It will be a little slow coming together as money is tight right now.

Very solid list of parts and nice looking car. This going to be mostly a street car, or more of a track car?

Thank you, It is going together as a track car but it does still have functioning headlights and taillights to drive on the street.

Well i have not updated this thread in a while. We changed directions with the turbo setup, while we waited to get the car into the fabricator. The Twin On3 turbos and a/a intercooler were sold. They were replaced with a S488 from Forced Inductions and an 2000hp A/W intercooler. The car got dropped off at the fabricator in the beginning of September, will have it back this coming weekend.

No it has the factory upper and lower core support. I actually used the Griffin radiator that everyone uses in the fbodys, I had one from my car and it fit right in. The downpipe is done just don't have any pics yet of the split or d/s exit.

What manifolds did you use? And also where did you get the flex tube for the crossover pipe? I like that set up a lot
