Default anyone running the bmr high clearance kmember?

Looking for people who have the bmr high clearance k.finally got the motor in the car after building my twin setup and every thing looks good both alignment dowls are in there respective holes but my motor seems to be sitting about 1 inch towards the passenger side, this normal? Wouldnt think so, im sitting here scratching my head wondering what and need some input.passanger shock tower clearance is far tighter than it should be imo and I have tons of room on the drivers side . something has to be off but nothing quite obvious

The one with the vertical motor stands? I put one in my car fitment seemed great. Havnt run the car yet but seems to be sitting centered in the bay (just went and double checked lol)

I'm running a truck mani on the drivers and a c6 on the passenger side and have plenty of clearance on both sides.

Just checked mine. It's almost dead center from any point I measure it.
Hope you get it figured out.

interesting, I'm building a TT set up for a friend, he has this K member and it is off set 3/4 inch to the passenger side also. I did V-banded truck mani's and had tons of room to run the 3" DP's on both sides. I figured it was normal, as GM did that in other cars. it really made it a pain in the *** to make the set up look balanced!

Hey where did this leave off? I just installed that k-member and my motor is setting about an inch off to the passenger side as well. Did BMR send you some different mounts? Did you end up modifying something?

I'm having this exact issue. So much so, I can not set the driver side head on to the studs because it hits the firewall. What did you guys end up doing?

My issue turned out to be user error. I thought both motor mounts were the same.. turns out they're different sizes. I just swapped them and it fixed my issue.

Different style k-member unless you have the special DKT one?

They make more than one version of "turbo" k-members.

One being discussed in here AKA "DKT version" https://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=...160&superpro=0

The one I am guessing you are having issues with - https://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=...260&superpro=0

I just got the kmember straight. I had to loosen all the mounting bolts and shock mount bolts. (wheels off the ground of course) I put a bottle jack on the frame rail and engine block. I pumped it up until the motor was a little to the driver side (since I had the factory rubber motor mounts in i knew they were going to have some give in them). I also removed the driver side rear kmember bolt and that was the ticket. I was then able to get it all straight. I had to carbide bit that bolt hole quite a bit to be able to put the bolt back in.
