Default LS6 Idle Issues

I've been having this problem for a couple days now where whenever I give my car gas or throw it into Neutral it will idle at about 2k rpm for a moment and slowly drop down to the correct idle. I'm thinking I could have a Vacuum leak but I'm not exactly sure, I was wondering what some of you had to say about this. I also have been having another issue for awhile now that whenever I take the car up to about 5200 RPM it will just completely lose all of its power and wont want to go anymore in that gear and will vibrate pretty bad, my red line is 6500. I'm thinking that could be valve float? Please let me know what you think either of these issues could be, Thanks!

Just follow the PCV lines to determine if there is a crack or hole somewhere. That's what caused my car to have the high idle -- a vacuum leak in the PCV system.
