Starter mount/block broker WTF!!

Default Starter mount/block broker WTF!!

OK so I go to start the car this morning and clunk I try to start it again starter just spins so I though damn starter went out, get a new starter get under the car take the starter bolts out and a side the block, that hold the starter in brakes at the mounting screw at first I thought it was just the starter but it's a piece of the block.. what can I do or is my engine block fucked?

No problem....really. You just have to find a welder that will get under your car and weld that piece back on...then retap it. It doesn't need to be an amazing awesome weld, just get it welded halfway decent and it will hold forever. Well, mine held like that for 5-6 years until my motor died and it was still in place just fine.

OK cool beans thanks bud I also looked up something called a starter bridge but that thing is almost $400
