Question 1999 Camaro SS b-pillar placement??

I had my b-pillar cover replaced due to the bubbling paint problem. Driving the car home after it was "fixed", I noticed I could hear a lot of wind noise. I got home at night, so I waited until the next day to look at it. My car is hugger orange and right away I noticed I could see the orange paint on the b-pillar in between the seals and the newly painted top ONLY on the driver side. Then upon further inspection, I noticed that the t-top seals did not really meet the top on the driver side...so again, I could see right down to the pillar.

So, I guess they did not put it back on right. I am taking it back to have it all done again. They have already ordered the new part and they should be calling me to bring the car in this week. Now for the questions...

Since I cannot remember how that piece was originally fitted to the car:

1)Should the rubber t-top trim fit snugly with the top?
2) Should I be able to look in from the back of the car in between the top and the back glass and see any orange paint (the b-pillar) ?
3)Is there a good way to make sure this thing is aligned properly this time?

thanks for your help.
