KC2K14 - Turbo Integra Vs Some 600's
F4i was the only real race I got Friday night due to the cluster ****. He clearly didnt hear the honks but I dont think the outcome would have been much different.
I met the guy with the GSXR at the meeting location and asked for some runs but we never ended up going out. On the way back to the hotel we caught up with him and another 600. He gave me thumbs up and some good comments when we got into town. He had a GoPro on his head im waiting to see the footage. Also probably couldnt hear my horn lol.

I agree, but those of us who ride 600s know that 60mph in 2nd gear is a horrible spot. My 600RR would hit 80mph in 1st, so with a brake boosting car, I would have been ready in the 1st and tried to keep the front down, or go from a 50 roll. Also, taking the hit on an expected kill isn't going to win you any bragging rights. Once over 140mph the 600s are dead anyway.

I didnt mean to take the hit, the horn is too high frequency and cant be heard. I have only had a few encounters with bikes so I wasnt really sure how hard I would pull. I would def give them the hit next time.
Might be racing a stock 1000 tonight

Again, Lightning's car is going to beat a well-ridden 600 IMO, but a 40-140 run with a good rider would be closer than most think. After that though, bye-bye 600!
Puck, what are your thoughts on the new 1000RR SP? Definitely interested in one as my next bike for street and track use. Sorry to hi-jack your thread LT!
