Default Cocky Co-worker Part 2.... on the streets this time

So, here we are.... a year and a half later and both cars with more mods. Some of you might recall Part 1 when I was stock motor on a 150 shot and put 747 lengths on him. If not, here is the thread with videos...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-ra...und-track.html

Fast forward to present. He's now changed exhaust setups and been 'professionally' tuned. I've upgraded to a BTR cam with 90/90 setup.

He came to the realization that he just couldn't hang with the car on the juice. However, that didn't stop his mouth from running. I sat back and listened... and waited. He yipped and yapped about how hard his car pulls from a 40 roll and he would put a hurting on me if I ran him on motor. So, I let him set all the rules... 40 roll, I get the passenger, and he gets the hit. I agree and the race gets set up.

It's a real quick video... should have started filming a little earlier and taped more of his car, but you get the idea.

Enjoy!

Great kill. Take 2 MPH of your first shift on your tune so you don't hit the limiter anymore!

Well, at least it wasn't a mustang guy being a douche in this thread lol. Explain to me this fella's logic, or lack thereof. His strong suit is his launch, which you destroyed him at...but he's thinking a roll is a good plan?

Hahaha oh the joy of shutting someone's mouth like that.

How many lengths did you have on him at the end?

What is it with some WRX/STI owners? Not all but a lot of them I have met think their car was handcrafted by angels and is faster than everything... gosh I pulled a 2011 wrx with my exhaust only GTP 3 years ago. :p

Also I read you first thread and I had a similar **** talker like this at work last summer. Had a volvo 850 turbo he thought was faster than my car and every night would pass everyone on the road back into the city. One night I let him floor it up till he was just about to pass me stopped his pull and pulled in front of him.. next day at work I heard about how he could easily just turn his psi up on his turbo and it would smoke me... I just gave up argueing with ignorance.

Wow that didn't look like much of a race.

My guess is more 747 lengths by how easily the OP pulled right off the bat with the Stang taking the hit. It had to be ugly.

Though if you think about it not really that farfetched

265 horsepower and 244 lb-ft of torque. 2011 WRX 3,208 without options such as moonroof navi. which that car had. I may have also glorified my GTP not mentioning his cocky passenger who was a twig.

2002 GTP coupe was around 3250 240hp 280 tq

What a tool...Granny shifting, not double-clutching like he should.

alot of us have that certian coworker, no matter what they have the fastest **** on the planet. oh wow u have a 1989 mustang gt and your going to put headers on it? holy **** prepare for the sonic boom.

im like op in that i enjoy remaining subtle about it, and letting the race speak for itself. so i am always happy to see cases like this where dude gets owned over and over.

What happened did happen lol. Believe it or not.

Though you are right it weights about 3400 from checking according to sites. I pulled a lot of cars I shouldn't have in that GTP though lol. 2002 wrx at work was side by side with me. 1991 toyota soarer twin turboed was door to door until me and my friend realized the red light camera and slammed our brakes :p
