2014 Hot Rod Power Tour. Who's taking what?
How about if you are going on the power tour, post a pic of what you'll be driving and how much of the tour you plan to attend.
Last year I Long Hauled and took my 67 Camaro
This year, I plan to go about half way and I'll be driving the twin turboed shop truck.
My buddy Greg will driving his 65 Valiant, aka "The Varmint"

I'll be driving my old truck too.
250/TH350. Slow as molasses..but I enjoy it and it sure works great as a parts hauler.
I planned on doing a turbo LS, in fact I already have the 5.3 ready to go. But I enjoy the simple and reliable six so I may just have to turbo something else.

My wife and two boys will be in my silver 73 Camaro with a LQ4 and T56 swap.
My father-in-law and brother-in-law in a Primered 72 Chevy SWB.
My buddy and his family in a White 72 Suburban with a LM7 and 4L60E swap.
All of us are doing the Long haul and leaving from Killeen Tx.

I took my Vette, but one of the guys in our group brought a really sweet wagon-
It's a 2007 Police edition Charger 5.7L with a 1969 Dodge Coronet Wagon body on top of it.
Here's our full group (except for the Mustang), missing is a 1968 427 Corvette.
And another awesome local ride that's usually in our group (he did the long haul, the rest of us only did the last three)-
2003/2004 Mustang Cobra with the coupe body dropped on it. Sorry for the bad pictures, I was quite a few drinks in at this point!
Had a blast this year! We had one of the best hotels in Indiana...we got two solid hours of burnouts before the cops showed up. Including one Aveo doing some sweet 5000rpm neutral drops, and a 1971(?) Chevelle that did a couple ~3 block smokey burnouts. He actually had people at the intersections stopping traffic haha.
Only thing I didn't like about it was how poor parking was in Iowa, and how totally unacceptable the parking was in the Dells! It took us an hour and a half to go a mile to get into the parking lot there. Thankfully it wasn't too hot out, there would have been a lot more people with overheated cars.
