Hey guys i've decided to part ways with my vette after 3 years 9 months. This can be used as a great project car. It is a 6 speed Manual transmission 2000 Nassau Blue Coupe . I bought it a few years back from Luke at Quality Motorsports. The car originally had a 402ci motor in it. However Luke sold it right before i bought it. So I told him to build me an LS6 cammed and he did. However I thought it was an ls6. Come to find out it was actually an ls1 block with ls6 heads and intake manifold. At that point the car had 67k miles on the body. Now it has 103k miles on it. I've enjoyed every bit of this car all the way up to September of 2013. One day I was out on a cruise. I started hearing a clicking sound when I got up to about 2000rpm. The higher I got in the Rpm range the louder it got. At first I thought it was an exhaust leak. So I stopped driving the car altogether. Then I decided to tow it to Quality after a few months without driving it. Pat checked it out and told me I might be throwing a rod bearing. So that would require a complete rebuild. So the past couple months i've been contemplating rebuilding the motor or selling the car. I took it to a friend of mine that just started a shop(JJ rush performance). He pulled the Motor out for me and was getting ready to take it to the Machine shop. Then I decided I just wanted to sell it. So as of right now the motor is out of the car. I can get it put back in if need be. Here's a list of mods. All thats needed on the car is for the motor to be rebuilt. NTX Machine shop quoted me $1800. The Motor is already out. So if you already have a motor that you want to put in that works as well. At least you wont have to pay to pull out the motor. Feedback is also helpful.
