... you need to put the car five feet above the ground to get the engine out of the bottom...
Seems every article I've ran into with this subject everyone has the back on ramps and two massive 2X4 towers or an engine hoist to get the car high enough to take the k-member out. This seems easier IMO. Two decent floor jacks, a funiture dolly and a couple of 2X4 blocks under the chassis and it clears fine.

Thanks. Roof and mirrors are black. I think all Z28's at least that year came with black mirrors/roof? Anyway, yeah I took the intake off because I was headed a different direction before deciding to pull the engine. The air dam is all still on, but probably will take it off when placing everything back in its place.

I pulled my motor out the same way. Had the rear up on ramps, lowered the K-member with a ATV jack, raised the front of the car up with a crane, motor on the stand in 4 hours single handedly. In my old garage, I did not have AC but I did have a Kegerator filled with Guinness.

SS RRR, is that car color "mystic teal pearl"? I ran my VIN in one of those databases and it said that was my car color. It's strange, because when I first bought it I could see that bluish tint like yours has, but years later all I see is green. It still changes color a bit in different lights, but I feel like I'm going colorblind. Or maybe I wax it too often.
