curious if anyone is running an LS engine with a blowthru carb and Procharger in a 68-72 Nova w/carb hat
interested in hood clearance using a stock hood, prob using a Vic. Jr intake
most have gone FI, hoping someone has this combo or tried it

i dont think it fits but if you need something for measurment my truck intake clears a 2.5 steel cowl hood just barely. so you will need to be 2.5" lower than a stock truck intake to stay with a stock hood.

I run a victor jr intake, fast 4150 style throttle body with a carb hat on it and it all fits under my 2" cowl hood on my 68 nova with a little room to spare. Pm me if u need measurements I can get some for u

are you guys running the steel hoods-how is the fit, pretty much like all the other sheetmetal (cut, fit weld, lol)

my 2.5" steel cowl fits pretty good. and is built better than i thought it whould be has an inner linner between the air cleaner area and outer skin. it came from shermansparts.

Hoods fit just as good as oem ones. Fenders, doors, and qtrs r what u gotta watch out for,
