Default building 6.0 around vortech t trim supercharger

I have a vortech t trim which is comparable to a d1sc procharger. I am going to run a ls6 top end and send my 243 heads into AI for porting and polishing. my block choice is 370,390,408 I would like input on what block is best for this supercharger. I aiming for 800whp on pump gas. so this means I will have to run meth most likely. should I mill the 243s at all? I understand 800 may be a stretch for this supercharger

All the cubic inch dimensions listed above can be built w/ the same block. The only difference is the crank stroke. 370 is 3.622, 390 is 3.85 and the 408 is 4". Personally, being SC you're not concerned about cubes for power, I'd destroke it a bit and run the 390. The 370 would be your least expensive route if you used the factory crank (which is a great piece), but for a fully forged setup, the 390 would be my choice. 408's have shown great reliability as well, it's just a personal preference for a 390 for me. AES has this setup readily available.

I just know going being cubes I would be putting less stress on the sc so I thought it may be easier to hit 800whp that way but I was looking at the 390 as my number one choice. what about milling the heads? thank you for your help

I wouldn't mill the heads. Why would you want to do that?

Pick the desired compression of the motor with the cc chamber size of your heads in mind. Piston selection will allow the choice of compression. That way it's right. With an FI setup you don't want to take any more meat off the deck of the head. You want it as thick as possible for less of a chance of lifting a head and it leaking, especially at the 800 hp level.

Go with either a 370 or a 390 depending on the budget. A 370 is a little bit cheaper or find a deal on something like an AES 390. Go with a reputable builder regardless.
