Default 9 second C6 Z06 FS

Year: 2006
Make: Chevrolet
Model: Corvette
Price: $44000
Mileage: 43000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): TX
Color: Silver
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

I have been debating this for a while now and figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone is interested. I am the 3rd owner of the car. Car has a clean title and is located in Houston (Richmond), TX area.

The car does have 1 very minor accident filed against it from the previous owner. All parts were repaired and replace with OEM parts and fixed by Richey Collision Center in Houston, TX who specialize in Corvettes. The front bumper and fender were damaged. Nothing but cosmetics.

Car:
2006 C6Z06
42,xxx miles
2LZ with NAV, HUD, and memory seats
Machine Silver exterior
Black interior w/ silver bolsters

Modifications: (all have less than 5000 miles)
Forged Mahle flat top Pistons
Ring gap 24-28 for nitrous
Stock forged rods (pinned)
Stock forged crank (polished)
Clevite bearings
ARP rod, main, and flywheel
Texas Speed 285cc 12.2:1 heads
Bronze valve guides (intake and exhaust)
Rev SS exhaust valves
Dual Extreme valve spring kit
Ti Intake valves
GM OEM MLS head gaskets
QM Black Widow revised cam
Halltech Killer Bee II air intake
83# short body injectors for E85
Modifications: (all have less than 3000 miles)
Texas Speed 285cc 12.2:1 heads
Bronze valve guides (intake and exhaust)
Rev SS exhaust valves
Dual Extreme valve spring kit
Ti Intake valves
GM OEM MLS head gaskets
Custom Aeromotive A1000 fuel system (E85 compatible)
Firecore50 spark plugs wires
Optima red top battery
NGK TR7s (gapped at .032)
American Racing 1 7/8" headers (w/ high flow cats)
LG GT4 Full Exhaust
Mantic 9000 twin disk clutch and remote bleed
MGW short throw shifter
GM full width spoiler (painted silver)
Stock wheels
General Exclaim UHP fronts 275/35/18 (80% tread)
Nitto NT05R rears 345/30/19 (95% tread)
Nitro Daves full nitrous plate setup with stand alone fuel cell.
Rebuilt transmission: New Syncros, 2nd and 3rd gear, bearings, seals, etc

The car was just tuned on a Mustang Dynometer and made 617 rwhp/550 rwtq w/ E85 on the NA tune. It made 700 rwhp and 640 rwtq on 100 shot and 750 rwhp and 698 rwtq on the 150 shot. The car is built for a 200 shot, but I currently have it tuned for a maximum of 150 just to be safe. Mustang dyno's tend to read lower, but are better for street tuning. Car is tuned for 11.9:1 AFR which is fairly rich, but the car only made ~5whp more with 12.5:1 so we opted for the safety of more fuel. The car is primarily on E85 with this kind of compression. The car can and has been retuned for 93 octane, and it runs fine on either E85 or gas. However, it is currently optimized for E85 fuel. I run race fuel in the dedicated nitrous fuel cell.

I have not had the car to the track with this new setup, but the old setup which made 545/505 on a Dynojet went 10.6 @ 132 with the stock clutch and a 1.70 60' on the NT05R tires. The new setup should be capable of low-low 10 sec passes all motor with an average joe driver. High 9s on the 100 shot and mid-low 9s on the 150 shot should be pretty easy with a medium grade driver.

It cleared 187 mph at the Texas Mile on the new all motor setup. This was faster than other big cubed RHS blocked Z06's running the same event. Should go 199-200 on the 100 shot and should easily clear 200 with the 150 shot.

Any questions about car, please send a PM.

Price: $44k

Thanks, its a beast on the street and it does pretty good at the track too. I have a 10 week old baby and dont have much time for all the events like I used to. I promise who ever ends up with this machine wont be disappointed!

Have there been any other/ additional modifications done to the car after you picked it up late 2011?
As well, are you available to show the vehicle local?

Yes, it has a rebuilt tranny, torque tube, and rpm torque tube bearing kit. It also has a new mantic 9000 twin disk and master cylinder installed earlier this year, custom A1000 pump setup with regulator, and Nitrous Daves wet kit with full stand alone fuel cell setup. The car makes around 80 more hp NA compared to 2011, and 200 hp more on the 150 shot compared to the 2011 version. Its available for show and is located south of Katy.
