On every setting, whether max or face and feet the air only comes out of the top of the dash. What do I need to look into, the blower is working cus I feel air and can hear the motor itself

you have a vacuum leak somewhere in the hvac. look under the goodfor the tiny black plastic tube that runs from the rear of the intake to a small check valve on the passenger side near the firewall. if the valve or line is cracked thats the issue

What redbird said, the HVAC defaults to defrost when there is no vacuum.
