Ok...my theme is black, chrome, and dark candy apple red...i have many cuztom painted parts going in the engine bay and little interior mods to incorporate this theme...
I have black fuel rail covers and was going to put the dark candy red ghost flames on them and make them all intertwine between my CAMARO, SS, and 5.7 lettering...when i get nitrous, i was also going to add some flames on the bottle...
so with that said...
do I paint my car with some dark candy red ghost flames...
OR
do i paint the hood scoop dark candy apple red and do a stripe deal on the rear spoiler (see Steve1969SS) website for example...
?????????????
which one would u like to see at the car shows i'll be attending???
Mikie

Depends on who is doing the flames. I have seen alot of really bad flame jobs in the past. Usually people try to work on a budget and end up with "budget" flames that ruin the entire car. If you find someone that really knows what they are doing, then a flame job can make your entire vehicle. The stripes would be a bit easier to do and also look awesome. It all depends on what look you are going for. I wouldn't have just any regular paint shop do your flames though (if that is the direction you decide).

Then if you have all the money to do it.. I would say go for it! Although, be prepared for it not to stay perfect unless you never take it out of the garage. All these stupid rock chips tick me off and I have to run back to the painter to have it repainted each time. But I am extremely happy with my flames and wouldn't change a thing!
