Notice the A/C condenser still mounted? :-)
Goal was 1200 horsepower with all creature comforts.
Full Leather, adjustable bolsters, Power Steering(Guess where the pump is), Airbags, A/C, ABS, Traction control (Even though I have a narrowed MWC 9" rear end)
etc etc...the list goes on and on... Lots of stuff relocated or replaced. The average person looks at that pic and wont see notice all the stuff thats supposed to be there.

I'm happy to see you made those ebay headers work for you. That symmetrical setup looks niiice. I will probably go the same route when I do my twin turbo build, as I want to retain AC. Any plans for header wrap, or ceramic coating?

After all the welds are finalized I will have everything ceramic coated. I'm not a welder so I had to have someone do the welding for me. I pick the car up this Tuesday. Welding will be finalized then.
I still have to fabricate a tank for the rear passenger side where the coolant will reside for the air to water intercoolers. Bracket for the cruise control motor needs to get implemented and installed. Also need to get a bracket put in for the new canister for the PCV system.
Also on Tuesday I will have access to the lift the car is on so I can complete my fuel lines. Once that is done I will take the car to a hydraulic hose place and get custom lines fabricated for the electric power steering pump.

You don't use flex joints to combat welding shrinkage in fabrication. I mean you could but it would be a waste of money, Any decent fabricator can mock/weld something up without it shrinking. The main purpose of the flex joint is for comabting heat expansion during heat cycles. Not to mention that many many people including myself don't run flex joints and never have an issue.

I see what you're saying OSCS, but less than ideal is sometimes a concession we have to make when you're trying to achieve an overall goal like he did with keeping a/c, heater, power steering etc.
So it's not optimized for the highest performance, but I'm sure he'll be more than happy with the results.
It's like the inlets for the fbody prochargers. Drop the inlet hat, and you gain a fair bit, but at the expense of filtering the air going into the blower.
So it's not optimized for the highest performance, but I'm sure he'll be more than happy with the results.
