Default New motor, new everything...won't start.

6/16: Problems- Fixed. Found an injector hot, getting too much voltage. Redid PCM connection, works. Gonna replace PCM for peace of mind.

---

6/14: Added some grounds. Checked connectors. Same issue. P0200, can't idle on own without throttle input.

---

6/9: Update- Changed crank sensor, codes are gone but still no go. Checking tune tomorrow. The hunt continues.

6/10: Updaaaaaaaaaaaate. Tune is good, VATS was disabled. Some pins got bent on installing the PCM. Those are fine now. It stays running so long as I give it gas. Let off, it dies. Threw P0200. All injectors were brand new. The hunt continues....but it ran for more than a second. I excite.

Issue:

Details:

LS3 block/heads/intake.
LS1 crank with 24x reluctor, ls1 crank and cam sensors. 3 bolt 1x cam, Bosch green giants. Everything is new. All sensors, coils, harness, the whole shebang. 0411 PCM with a base tune loaded up onto it.

I'm way out of my element on this whole setup lol. Can't really get to the crank sensor to multimeter it there, but I can mm the signal at the PCM if someone tells me what to measure. Another suggestion someone gave was a CASE relearn, but it doesn't run...so that's out.

Troubleshoot. Aaaaand go.

This f'in site takes forever to load, so rather than me sit here and wait an hour for all the ad trash to boot up, let me ask you this. What front cover are you using? The VVT cover puts the cam sensor too far away from the gear to read a good signal. Also, while the cam sensors (24x/58x) are the same for all front covers, but the wires sometimes need to be switched around in the connector shell.

I'll ask the dumb question, wouldn't that throw a cam code?

In any case, I got 12627501 with 12591720.

Reset the ECU and tried again, got P0335 and P0336 this time.

I ran into the same problem, I have a 98 WS6 everything was new and went with an LS7 cam. Didn't change the timing cover, started but didn't run. Just wondering if you have ls1 timing cover or ls2 timing cover?

LS2 cover, IIRC the sensor was compatible with LS1? 12627501 with 12591720. Also used 109081 from Casper

But again, I'd think that'd throw a cam code no?

Have you checked to verify everything is getting +12v etc/grounds. I saw in your build thread that u are using a WS harness have you checked from pcm to sensor that the wiring is correct? Verify you have fuel hearing the pump prime? I'm new to the ls **** too my 411pcm with trip the fuel pump relay for a split second to prime the rails then kills it until you turn it on. With the tach bouncing I would think the pcm is getting signal from the cam/crank correctly.

On my s13 I went with a standalone motor harness, PSI, and removed all the Nissan **** from the car that would control the motor/fuel. Could also be something wrong with whatever the WS harness is interfacing with on the chasis side?

Check all of your connections with all of your injectors. Make sure none of the pins in the plugs for the injectors have backed-out.

Checked and good. New harness and all but checked anyway.

Added some grounds. Checked connectors. Same issue. P0200, can't idle on own without throttle input.
