OFF TOPIC: Moving to Houston, Job recommendations Ok so long story short, I'm moving to Houston in August to move in with my girl, we both just graduated from UTEP at El Paso TX, and I'm looking to see what kind of job's one can find in such a huge city, my degree is in CIS (Computer Information Systems), if anyone has a hookup or knows of a company hiring any type of business major (since my degree is technically both) it would help us, any questions, comments or suggestions will be appreciated

Pretty much whatever you want . Lots of oil/energy companies here and construction is going strong.
Any company can utilize someone with your skills.
I would get your name in with a good recruiter and look at any and all options.
Also- figure out where you are going to be living and focus on that side of town

Do you know what kind of companies?, I know shell, exxon mobile, and chevron have corps there, but what kind of energy companies?
