I'm looking into the Aeromotive, around $35-38.

The Earl's one from Summit looks interesting because it appears to have a second lock on it that fits on the outside. Wonder how well that works as a backup?

I didn't realize the issues these adapters caused people when I bought mine and simply stumbled upon a good one. I couldn't find what I was looking for in the summit catalogue so I called them and they sent me a fitting that adapts my 3/8 quick connect line to -8, it saddles the ridge on the line and then screws together and can not come off like the ones linked above. I can't tell you the part number or manufacturer but I can tell you that a better fitting is available at summit. I will check my build thread and see if there is a picture of it

Zoom in on the fourth picture in the first page and you can see the fitting on my stock line. It unscrews into two pieces, the lower piece saddles the line and then you screw the top piece on. Works perfectly and no chance of blowing off

I've been using the same "Jiffy-tite" disconnects on my transmission for a little over a year. Trans has been in and out 5-6 times, and I have not had an issue.

This is the style Russell fitting to use.
The U shaped part threads into the back of the fitting forming a positive lock, locking the fitting on the line.
These are available from Summit in various sizes, blue or black color.
Use key words "Russell Push-on EFI Fittings".

How did the Russell fittings turn out? I'm about to order 2-3 of them, just curious. Can't beat it for under $15.
