****Fenix gets busted**** Ws6 vs Vette 60 roll vs a vette in Mexico.
We take the hit and take up high, cop follows to pull me over right after. When he gets to my door he asks... did you win? I didn't know how to react, specially being on paper.
I get out the car as I look for the insurance and then questions me about the car. Naturally, told him it's a 5.3 with some work. He then states I got a speeding ticket towards Houston, I said yes. His reply... tx2k??? I busted laughing and said yes. He then asks me how fast I was going, and I told him 110. He says yeah that's about right, I was going 119 and catching up too you. He then whips out his clipboard and I brace myself... In pound, jail, po, etc.... He lets me off with a warning for speeding and tells me "I hate to admit, but this is the safest place to race".
What a lucky night... but after this, I'm done going to Mexico for a bit.

He was the coolest cop I've met to date... He was an undercover car enthusiasts, that has had his share of rides, but mostly ford. Calm and humble? I just knew I was fucked, so no sense in panic or act like I wasn't doing anything. The girl that was riding shot gun, was terrified but also maintained her baring, and was calmed as it could be. There is no way to describe when I saw he didn't reach for his cuffs and just got the warning.
I'm chillen for a while after this... need to get my nerve back, lol.

Mannnnnnnn I hate that feeling.
I used to have different standards(lower) for where/when I would race.
I was driving light to light around my hometown. Some ******* in a big *** F250/350 kept ******* with me. It was heavily modified. I think it was the ones with the 6.4L Diesel. The turbos were screaming their asses off when he was revving at me.
Decided to oblige him on a 4 lane small town "highway" and about as soon as I pulled a million car lengths the blue lights came on. The truck pulled off the highway and the ******* cop kept coming for me. And even readily admitted choosing me despite the truck pulling over for him.
I ended up with an 80 in a 35 ticket. Didnt get a "racing" ticket though. He wasnt real happy with me but as macho man as this sounds he really liked my pistol and gave me a break.
I had an HK P2000 .357 SIG and the guy wanted to sit there and have a conversation about the gun with me after giving me a ticket. I was PISSED at myself and pretty much killed the convo as quick as possible and went on home.
I payed a lawyer and got the ticket PJC'd. I'm still on that PJC so I havent street raced since and I also feel a lot differently about racing on the street unless its a big *** open highway. I was stupid and got what I deserved.
By the way you really fucked up talking to that cop. You ended up ok but there is never a circumstance whether you are guilty or not where it is a good idea to talk to the cops. ANYTHING YOU SAY OR DO WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW. The ****** even tells you what. And that includes even if you're telling the truth. If the police/DA don't think you are - they will still use it against you. You left yourself hanging on a string by that cops finger and if he wanted to absolutely NAIL you he could have.
Even if you are caught speeding your *** off when you are asked how fast you were going you either completely ignore the question or literally say whatever the speed limit is in the area. Even if its obvious you are lying.
Heres why you shouldnt ever talk to the police - coming from a retired police offficer. DONT ******* TALK TO THE POLICE PERIOD.
This is a 50 minute video but worth watching. You will do yourself a serious favor to watch this whole vid. Especially you guys who race a lot. Please watch this and PROTECT YOURSELF.
