Default How can I wash/clean the gutted interior without having to worry about corrosion?

I just gutted my GTO to wash the carpet but discovered that the frame/panel under the carpet is way dirtier than the carpet itself.

So now I would just love to scrub it with soap and thoroughly steam power wash it. But I am worried that the water will cause the panels to corrode. Should I be worried about this?

How can I effectively and thoroughly clean the inside without worrying about corrosion?

Appreciate any advice guys!

Using an all purpose cleaner, brushes and microfiber towels. You could steam/power wash it. Just make sure that you thoroughly dry everything with compressed air and let it air dry.
