Default Thinking of doing a turbo with a stock 6.0 (LY6). What needs to be upgraded?

I was planning on using stock 317 heads and making approximately 700-800 rwhp. I was thinking it would be rod bolts, head gaskets, cam, valve springs, pushrods, rocker trunion upgrade. Maybe oil pump and lifters? Do I need anything else? Thanks

I would not do rod bolts, dont even pull the oil pan off, just get some arp head studs and LS9 gaskets.

Agreed. IMO rods need resized if new bolts are installed. Just keep the RPM's down and they should be good.

Why would you put 317 heads on a motor that comes factory with l92 heads? The l92 heads will flow better stock for stock so I'm not sure why you would go backwards.

I just had a buddy put arp rod bolts in his despite me telling him otherwise. 200 miles later its back at the machine shop with spun bearings and out of round rods.
