Default best sounding muffler for turnouts before axle??

can someone suggest a good sounding set of mufflers to turnout before the axle, going in my 67 camaro ls1/t56 swap 235/238 cam. i recently went with a fourlink which completely screws my exhaust that was all the way out with a aerochamber muffler behind the axle, loved the sound of it, came alive when i mashed it but wasnt too loud when i didnt want it to be. now it looks like im going to have to revamp my system and turnout before the axles and i want as close to the same as i can get. any help is greatly appreciated ive searched already and didnt see a lot that pertained to my situation, i thought about borla, or maybe just going with dual aerochambers.

Keep in mind you'll need a quieter muffler to keep it's DB/SPL down to similar levels with dumping it. BTW, unless you can tell us what dimensions(H x W x D) you have to work with for placing the mufflers under the car before the rear-end it'll be hard to recommend a muffler since you might not be able to get the muffler you want in the size and inlet/outlet configuration you would need.

Flowmaster 10 series single chambers are pretty nice, as well as Dynomax bullets.

Spintech split case is by far the best muffler I had when dumping out the side. Maybe not the best performing, but best sounding for sure. Jones Maxflows on my car now with pipes out the sides is mean sounding too for only $40 a muffler and for sure flows better than the Spintechs.

I ran sweet thunders. They aren't THAT bad in the car if you have carpet. Take out the carpet and you'll need earmuffs for any drive over 5 minutes.

If I could do it over again I would have used MagnaPacks. Part # 14419. They have a lot more depth, bass, and tone than any of the other mentioned mufflers. More than an XR1 as well.

Is there an X-pipe in place? In my experience I think any muffler sounds goods off the collector or out the back with no X. There just a lot less tone with out an X in place. If you have an X that is where things become a lot more tonal and TBH it is all preferential.
