Street Racing & Kill Stories - Got owned by SS Tonight

Alright here it goes. i have a friend that has a 2000 SS M6 and i have a 99 z28 m6. he thought he was going to own me right when he got his car. my car was basicilly stock with only a lid and flow master. instead i owned him by 2 car lengths. Next race was a few months later when i got my MAF, no cats ,ram air, silverstone plugs and msd wires. he got magnaflow full cat back and MTI lid with k&n filter. i got him this time by 3 or 4 cars :owned: . Latly he has been pretty confident and im wondering y but he says that he didnt get anything new but im suspicious :suspiciou . we raced today and he got me by at least a car and a half :pissed:. i was like what the fuck. i was pretty pissed off fellas. he lauched on me by two cars so i thought he got drag radials. sure enough he got those nitto drags. i think that was all he got cause i was creeping on him at the end. im going to come back and wipe his ass when i get my 4.10 gears and BF Goodrich drag radials :devil:

You really want to help your situation out? Get an exhaust cutout and let that exhaust flow already. You'll see a decent gain in your peak numbers (probably about 10 ponies). The car will feel "slower" due to the torque peak moving up in the rev range, but it will be faster.

I think you're pissing in the wind until you get some real bolt ons or internals, or the spray of course. Until then, it's always gonna be a driver's race. DR's and 4.10's will always help from a dig, but you need some mods that will increase your MPH.

oh yeah i have plans to get LT headers, head job and SC in the future but right now i am just worrying about the little things that will help me out.

i have a m6 z28 ls1 i race my friends GTs all the time and i dont have trouble get them out of the hole. i havent raced an auto LS1 yet so i cant tell u
