5.3 150-250... plugs?
Hey guys im almost aready to fire this thing up and get it on the dyno! The plan is to spray a 150-250 depending on how it responds. The car has a full standalone in it, which i plan to use c16. heres a rundown of the motor..
SBE 5.3 fresh rings/bearings
hv oil pump
cts-v pan
completey rebuilt 862 heads, cut .030''
Comp 918 beehive valve springs
ASA Camshaft 525/525 226/236@50 110 lobe sep
Head studs.
ls9 headgaskets
Edelbrock Vic Jr intake
msd 6010
Mighty Demon 750 4150
dynatech 1 7/8 longtubes
JW built th400 T brake,
revmax 3600 custom billet convertor
The plate im using is an older plate but its good to flow up to 300. Its a Nitrous Works plate with the large style solenoids. What is a good plug to start the nitrous tuning. Ive read to use a non-projected tip plug (br6ef) but ive also seen alot of people use the projected tip (tr6)?
This is a street car that will see alot of driving on the weekends. Also this a strictly pump gas 93 car and the nitrous will be using the c16 from the stand alone. What kind of limits should i be looking at and what have people used from experience on these motors??? Sorry this is my first LS motor, so im trying to learn from other people mistakes.
