i'm thinking of doing a nitrous outlet plate or direct port kit and running a dedicated fuel cell with c16 for when it sprays... i'd like to be able to leave my n/a tune as is... how much can you do safely?

still that is helpfull, thanks for the info. i know next to nothing about nitrous so i'm exploring my options... can i turn the box on and off with an arming switch inside the cabin as well? i'd like to be able to drive around like normal on my regular n/a tune and then be able to hit a few buttons to get the spay working if i get the itch

Nah, that is BS. It is all in the tuners ability. I ran dry for 8 years on different cams and heads with the stock bottom end. Any were from 125 to 175 shot. Pushed well over 1000 pounds of N20 through that motor in that time period. Just about finished with new motor, still going to run dry kit too. Nothing wrong with a wet kit though.

It's different on every combo and how agressive your na tune is. You can normally tune it with a standalone to be able to run 100-125 shot while only giving up 8-15whp na. I hope that makes sense.
