Was thinking about hand porting them myself, I have before on a set of my old lt4 heads and also a set on one of my srt4 heads. Not looking for a race ported head just something that flows lil more then stock. I'd like to have them milled .30 thousents to put my compression at 11.1. Plan on doing a 150-200 shot.

If there is anyone that does it or any company please pm pricing.

Nope, never heard of anyone porting those 243 heads. Maybe some of the sponsors listed to the right have heard of someone that does though.

You haven't heard of TEA (Total Engine Airflow)or AI (Advanced Induction)?

They do extensive head work on stock heads as well as aftermarket. I have AI 232 cc 243 heads milled down to 57 cc with 2.055 intake and 1.55 exhaust valves and milled for 3/8" pushrods.

The price was pretty good for all the work involved PM me for more details for those who are interested.

I can see the sponsors from my phone. If you can't see the sponsor banners, there are literally hundreds of "who to port my heads" thread you can search with the search function, which is also accessible with the mobile app.

If you are really trying to be cheap there is definitely room for improvement with simple hand work. Take a look at all the casting crap in the runners, and the intake and exhaust ports on the head aren't perfect either. A machine shop can probably mill them for less than $100, mine ran $80 for the pair.

He was sarcastic because you showed ZERO initiative to find any info before you posted. He probably found the sarcasm amusing, as did I. Hey, he could have called you a lazy bastard but he didn't and he still got called a dick anyway. Ironic how that works huh? Your lesson in acting like an adult is over for now, I hope you paid attention.

Scoggin Dickey has a set of 799 castings cnc'd and have 60 cc combustion chambers with ls6 springs, they have the stock valve size 2.00 intake and 1.55 exhaust for around $1200. I put a set of these on my 00 ss along with a .224/.228 cam, pulls good to 6800. These are new castings with a quality port job. Go to their wabsite where they list the flow numbers or give them a call Monday and ask any questions you may have.

Seriously doubt they flow anything near AI or TEA heads for that price.

Basing your opinion on which heads are better on price alone isn't advisable, nor is basing any head purchase on flow alone. Our heads are some of the best bang for the buck ported stock heads you'll find.
