Description
- 19" CCW 505A wheels and tires - originally for C5 Corvette. Also fit Camaro/Firebird
- Chrome
- I *believe they're 19x10 and 19x11. I say this based on tire size, lip size, and my own rough measurements. But I have no way of knowing 100% without taking the tires off
- 275/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Front
- 295/30/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Rear
(tread patterns don't match see pics) - Front tires are perfect with deep tread
- Rear tires are lower than front (go figure!)
- One rear tire has a small crack starting on the inner sidewall. Possibly age? I drove on them fine but I don't do highway driving and my trips are all 3 miles each. Sorry I forgot to take a picture. I forgot about it until after I walked out. I'll take one tonight.
Condition
- Not the best. I'd rate them 6/10
- There is chrome peeling where spokes meet the lips
- The worst is in a pic below showing the peeling on the lip and a curb ding
- Basically they're the wheels you see in the World of Wheels parking lot, not on the arena floor. They're 5 footers.
Remarks
This is an honest assessment of the wheels and tires. Check my trader rating. I don't want anyone to come out and be surprised by what they see. On the other hand, I don't want you to think I'm poo-pooing on them because they are badass and one of the wheels you never see in person. Pick these up and don't worry about going 1mph over potholes or parking near a curb on the street. Just put them on and enjoy. Not to mention the chrome finish is worlds easier to maintain than polished - especially with this design.
My price I think takes into consideration the aesthetics. I figured that's basically $1,000 less than if they were in perfect condition. Any questions please ask away.

Definitely. You can see the only picture with damage is in pic #3. The rest of them are fine as far as damage goes. It's the chrome that I think is the problem and it's not like there's chrome coming off like a peeling sunburn - there's light pitting and a couple places where chrome has come off, like pic #2.
I made it sound worse than it is in my description because I don't want someone to be disappointed when they see these blemishes. We've all been there.
I used Wheels America once before and they had a really fast turn around. They run about $200/wheel to re-chrome and they include mounting and balancing.

Where in southern Illinois are you? (Siuc alum here). Also I'll be in Springfield this weekend fri-sun so I could bring them with if you wanted to meet instead of ship.

Yup. Cdale. Thats where im at. I just got off the phone with ccw wheels and asked about refurbishing them. They said that they never chrome plated their 505a wheels and someone must have plated them later. That concerns me a little. Pm me ur number so we can discuss. Im willing to make a reasonable offer. Thanks
