Default what color calipers on red trans am?

Not sure what color I should paint my calipers. The trans am is red and is currently on stock chromed. Gonna buy some chrome Y2ks in a few weeks. Was thinking of black.

I went black on my pewter WS6 and I really like it. Black looks good on about anything.

Not enough contrast. Yellow would have looked better.

On a red car I would go black, on any other color car either silver or red. NO other colors should be considered.

Really debating between the red and black, feel as if the red is too much but it looks nice on the formula. Any more pics?

polished ftw! Ship them to me and ill polish them up.

This is a pic of the rear ones I had polished, lemme try and find a pic of the front ones

they looked nice while rolling or behind the black centers, really popped out!

Here's a front caliper pic, don't mind the missing lug, was just putting the wheel back on

I can't imagine the amount of work it would take to keep those calipers polished like that all the time. Yikes.

Thanks for all the responses and input. I ended up just going black on the calipers, I also got the paint for free so decided why not lol. I'll try to post a pic later

Good choice on black. I suggest putting body color matching decals on them. I really like the black with white decals on my white TA.

I used rattle cans and they turned out great, just make sure you prep the surface realllly well and do light coats or it'll start running.

When I get time (HAHA right) I may just pull the calipers off the car altogether and paint them off car.

Or, given their age maybe I should get remans and paint them at my leisure, then just swap them over at some point.

Yeah maybe my cousin had a can of black caliper pain unused and gave it to me. I left the caliper on cleaned it well sprayed the paint into a cup and brushed on about four coats evenly.
