A4 of course:

It started yesterday. Car is in drive and go and then about 30mph the car revs up and does not go faster. Then, I try in 3rd gear and the same happens. Now I have to start in 1st then 2nd gear up to about 60mph then drive it in 3rd or "D" to keep at least 60mph. Try to go faster and the car doesn't it just revs up.

So in your opion is it the converted or trannys most likely.


BTW- I have a Yank 3600 and a deep dish tranny pan on it.


Any help would be great guys. So I need to know how much i will be getting myself into.

If you are at a dead stop and nail it, it moves normally, right? It's the trans.

Yes it does, then about 30-40 revs up really hard.

Mine did that and it was fixed with a Tune. It might be your stock torque management.

What he describes doesn't sound like a TQ management issue to me.
