Long time lurker, just registered. Buying my LQ9 powered jeep cherokee and am looking for advise. Great site thanks guys!

Sure is but, it is more of a pain in the *** than it is worth any more it seems.

My brother is at the tail end of building a serious YJ. LS1, Atlas, 8.8 and D44. If you get hung up let me know and maybe he can assist

I have built several jeeps from mild to wild, just none with a ls powerplant yet. Thanks for the offer and would be interested in seeing a build write up. I fear the dana 44 will not last with the way i will use the jeep seeings how the dana 30 already has the larger joint in front axle as we speak which is the same size as the 44. Only benefits of the 44 at this point is the larger pinion which i havent broken my current pinion so its not worth the swap. Dana 60 it is.
