Reported my much better top-end efficient Midwest converter:

Anyone that has good graphs or even better files with back-to-back
unlocked/locked runs, I'd love to see.. seems like noone posts or does
that. I am trying to fully understand the lower end power & torque #s
on my unlocked graph-

I think there is some confusion, as many show graphs that list rpm on bottom of graph, but it HAS to be speed really, not rpm...
as you can see unrealistic high rpm at top & it doesn't match my experience
when you properly display on real rpm and not speed converter by a flat
factor. In fact, on my unlocked run, the first display the computer showed
was with a bogus 7200 top rpm recorded and higher HP in the short end
than locked.... now I know that was obviously vs. rpm and imputing the speed or vice-versa... & running unlocked you're getting chunky slip until the top end. Here's an example where it shows rpm, but it's not:

When I hit it on the unlocked run, I think I remember hitting it around 2500rpm or less, but the run was recorded only from 3400.. I don't remember the revs really jumping, it just seemed like a nice consistent smooth pull... and if you analyze the power (and time from mph to mph) at mph, power was indeed higher than locked up to a point. What do other people feel the converter (3400 range) flashing like on the dyno? I guess what I mean is that it didn't do what it normally does on the street, it seemed, where it really does jump right into the 3500+rpm range.
