Ls2 intake with 92mm plate kit?

Ls2 intake with 92mm plate kit? Got a 92mm plate kit CHEAP! But can't run it on my ls6 intake. Don't want to spend $1000 on a fast when my friend will sell me his ls2 for $100 just need a throttle body for it. Will it fit? I know a ls2 is a 90mm opening but hoping the 92 will fit. Thanks!
