Hello all, just got a 66 Chevelle all original car with a strait 6/glide and I'm planning on doing the swap. Looking at engines & trany, rear ends, suspension and all that stuff now. Looking at getting a L92 with a 6L80 that I found.

I've had a few F-bodys with LT-1s and I've done a few old cars recently, but this new tech is going to take some schooling for me, but that's why I'm here. My last build was a 1963 Impala SS restoration, and when I started, I knew little about paint, body, and everything. It was my first resto without the help of my old man. The learning curve was huge and it took years, but I'm pretty damn confident about it all now. I had a lot of help from forums like Chevytalk and really appreciated those guys input.

I know that I'll have some drama with this ambitious endeavor (for me at least)
so I'll be studying this forum religiously, and hopefully I can lend some of my experiences.
