hello everyone, been reading through this forum for a couple years now figured i should register. My name is Dustin, im 31 and live in Lufkin tx. I have started a project on an s10 and im sure i will need some guidence from you guys. I purchased a 08 gmc savana cutaway with a ly6 and 4l80e from the company I work for. I only gave 1500 for the van running and driving. Will be doing the swap over the next year and as you would expect i will have many questions. The engine and tranny will need a rebuild seeing as it has 221k on them. Not going over the top with the build seeing as this will be my first time working on a ls based engine. gonna keep it simple get it running and driving and will move on from there. I have overhauled a couple of engines in the past but was in my late teens and early 20's. anyway, sorry for rambling, its a pleasure to be here.
