It's about time!!!
When looking for an engine for my 1941 Ford COE project, a buddy happened to crash his 1999 C5. He managed to damage just about every body panel, but both he and the drivetrain were fine. The insurance company totaled it and we bought it back. That LS1 is mounted midship in my project now. (My apologies to those rubbed the wrong way that it's in a Ford). How do you make a Ford fast? Put a Chevy engine in it!
I also have a Chevy powered 1957 CJ. My wife owns a Ford that still has a Ford engine... I forgive her for that!
It's been a long 3 years so far, I am looking forward to eventually firing it up again!

Here's the donor pretty much picked clean... It was pretty cool how the entire drivetrain, engine, trans, rear axle setup all dropped right out the bottom.
