Default Small leak from front coolant crossover

I noticed a small leak coming from the front passenger side coolant crossover pipe. I bought replacement gaskets and when I removed the pipe, there were two gaskets on that side.

I have done all of the work on the car myself and never noticed it before. Is that side supposed to have two gaskets or should I just use a single one?

No joint is ever supposed to have 2 gaskets, unless there are actually 2 joints involved. Clean it off really well, use 1 gasket.
