Default Quick Vid: HCI Trans Am Vs Full bolt on-Cammed Evo X

Met up with a couple local Evo X's last night to have some fun. This Evo had full bolt ons along with cams... Evo was pushing 27psi on 91 pump gas. Claims 380awhp. From the looks and sound of the car, I thought it would be super close, giving him the slight edge....

We did a 40 roll off 3 honks and I absolutely murdered him by buses... Decided to do it again from a 25 roll (his sweet spot) and I also gave him the hit... The vid is the results... LS top end FTW

*** Sorry for poor vid quality... Filmed with Iphone at night...

Yeah, even my car hung with one bolt ons + bigger turbo + E85 and got him on 93. They aren't that impressive IMO.

Nice run. I like evos for what they are. I was pretty close to buying one on a couple of occasions.

Good kill, T/A sounds good.

I've had mixed experience with these cars but from what I've seen they usually run pretty strong.

Yeah i ran his buddy who had a forged motor with bigger cams and it was the same outcome... Maybe the evo 9's are the fast ones lol. You would think on 27psi with cams to match that his top end would be there, but it wasnt. And my car is full weight daily driven on BS streetlite wheels... I just have a really strong running combo i guess

Isn't stock psi for these cars already like 24 or so at full boost?

Either way, good kill. I've railed a modded one before, and railed a few stockers with no issue at all from a roll. They're normally dead after 70-80mph. They get the **** out the hole though, and as an actual daily driver... They are nice cars for what they are. I've been passenger in an X during a blizzard, and it HAULED *** on blizzaks. It was downright amazing in the snow. It was a solid car all around.
